128th Bartow County Masonic Convention Brings Together More Than 63 Masons

On September 17, 2026, Stilesboro Lodge No. 260 hosted the 128th Annual Bartow County Masonic Convention, bringing together more than 63 Masons from across Bartow County and the surrounding area for an evening of fellowship, tradition, and brotherhood. The evening began with an outstanding meal prepared and served by the members of Stilesboro Lodge No. 260. Following the meal, Convention Master W.B. Brian “Tiny” Hufstetler opened the meeting and welcomed those in attendance, including honored guests Past Grand Master Jan Giddens and Senior Warden of the 7th district Convention W.B. Rusty Cordle. One of the highlights of the evening was the election and installation of the officers who will lead the Bartow County Masonic Convention during the coming year. W.B. Clyde Couch of Adairsville Lodge No. 168 was elected as the new Bartow County Convention Master for the ensuing year. The remaining Convention officers advanced one position, with the exception of the newly Appointed officers: Third Steward Jimmy Tilley Jr., Tyler Dave Davis, and Chaplain Austin Heaton, all of Adairsville Lodge No. 168. Past Grand Master Jan Giddens and Rusty Cordle then conducted the installation of the newly elected Convention officers. During the Convention, W.B. Will Hester of Kennesaw Lodge No. 33 presented W.B. Brian “Tiny” Hufstetler with specially made wooden nickels to distribute to everyone in attendance. The wooden nickels served as a keepsake and reminder of his year of service as Bartow County Convention Master. The Convention also provided an opportunity for lodges throughout the county to share information about their upcoming activities and community events. Among those discussed were Kingston Lodge’s Annual Tractor Drive on October 3, Euharlee Lodge No. 457’s Annual Golf Tournament on September 25, the Charlie Long Barn Degree on October 3, and several other upcoming lodge events. More than anything, the 128th Bartow County Masonic Convention was an evening centered on fellowship. With more than 63 Masons gathered together, the night was filled with good food, laughter, meaningful conversations, and an opportunity for Brothers from different lodges to spend time together and strengthen the bonds of Masonry throughout Bartow County. We would like to thank Stilesboro Lodge No. 260 for hosting this year’s Convention and for their hospitality, as well as everyone who attended and helped make the evening a success. If you were unable to join us this year, we hope you will make plans to attend the 129th Bartow County Masonic Convention in 2027. Be sure to check our calendar for the date, location, and additional information as it becomes available.
